Making It Work

It's mostly just me talking...to myself. It's cheaper than therapy and safer than leaving a diary hanging around the house. I will try really hard to not be whiny or boring but no promises. I can be a real slug. pregnancy week by week

mean girls

you know yesterday i was sitting at the pool watching my daughters lessons and there were three teen girls standing in front of me stretching for their swim team practise. i was listening to them, mostly because i had no choice due to their loud voices, and they were being so nasty. "oh marsha she's a slut" hahaha. hey, i bet marsha doesn't think thats very funny. and they were all like "she said this and he said that and they all denied it." anyhow, i found out that i truly dislike anyone between the ages of 13-25. there should be some sort of place to send these people. i dont want my ten year old girl to turn into one of those girls. but i think its already too late. shes bossy and judgemental...yep a chip right off the old block. tear.

Heinlein said often that he believed small boys should be raised in a barrel from the age of ten. Then at eighteen the decision should be made whether to let the youth out or drive in the bung.

Our society has come to value clever nastiness over sincerity. Watch television for an hour and cry me wrong. Our children just project it in sharper relief, I think.
